Great classes for the family companion dog!

Puppy One: For puppies ages 3-6 months. We will focus on socialization, exposure to different environments, people and things, fun and games. Also, the pups will enjoy some off-lead play time. We will discuss housetraining/crate training issues, house rules, bite inhibition, and many issues that puppies and new owners go through. Pups will learn to sit, down, respond to their name and offer attention.
4 week course, 45 minute class

Puppy Two: For puppies ages 6-9 months. We will focus on all of the above as well as more formal basic obedience behaviors: sit, down, attention, walking on a loose lead, recall, and stay. We will also learn how to teach our dogs fun to learn tricks!
6 week course, 60 minute class

Family Dog One: For dogs 9 months and older with little or no previous training. We will focus on all basic obedience behaviors: sit, down, attention, walking on a loose lead, recall and stay. Also greeting behaviors, house rules, and fun tricks too!

Family Dog Two: For dogs 9 months and up: Prerequisite: Any class listed above, any other approved class, or any other training discussed with me prior to class. This is a class for refining all basic obedience behaviors and is held for those that want to continue and progress with their dog to the next training level. This class may be used to prepare for the AKC's Canine Good Citizen test. This is a more structured class, with more distraction level. We will do group heeling patterns, individual heeling patterns, group sits and downs, greeting behavior, as well as some play time and fun and games too! Please discuss your dog in depth with the instructor prior to signing up for this class!
